Fact is stranger than ficton
My neighbour called me in the help with his new PC, (despite me not
owning one myself). The PC dealer had set everything up in the shop,
even registered them with a local ISP, configured the MS web and mail.

But my neighbour couldn't get on the net. Well not until I plugged it
into the telephone, they didn't realise the PC needed any external
connection.

Two days later they asked me if I had been having any problems with my
phone because their family had been unable to phone them, due to the
engaged tone, and my neighbours knew that couldn't be true because
"We were on the NET at that time and the phone wasn't in USE!"

Morale:
World is still ready and waiting for idiot proof devices.

Regards
Mark
